Natürlich gibt es auch einige Dhimmies, die das vorauseilend entschuldigen:
“But the diocese understands the anguish of the taxi driver concerned that what, for him, is a very innocent and appropriate symbol has been so misinterpreted."

Clair Cook, who runs AnD taxis, was asked by her local council to ensure that the object was removed after being told that the 15-year-old boy had been offended by it.

Der Beschwerdeführer war grade mal 15 Jahre alt, nicht einmal volljährig und setzt seinen Sturkopf durch. Und die Richter spielen mit.

Schon interessant, wer da alles mit reinmischt:

Colin Rumford, the head of environmental health and trading standards at City of York council, accepted that the complaint had been handled badly.

Europäischer Gerichtshof für Menschenrechte verfügt, Kreuze haben in den Klassenzimmern europäischer Schulen nichts verloren:

European court overturns school crucifix ban – Atheist Nexus

Filed Mar 20 2011 in: Religion > Christianity by: DeltaV
CRUCIFIXES can be displayed in school classrooms across Europe, the European Court of Human Rights ruled yesterday.
The decision overturned a previous ruling that the crucifix could breach the rights of non-Christian pupils. The case was initially brought in Italy by Soile Lautsi, a Finnish-born mother whose children attended a state school near Venice and objected to the classroom crucifixes.
In November 2009, the court in Strasbourg ruled that the presence of religious symbols violated the children’s right to secular education.
In yesterday’s ruling the court decided that ‘while the crucifix was above all a religious symbol, there was no evidence that the display of such a symbol on classroom walls might have an influence on pupils’.
Iona Institute spokesman Dr John Murray said the ruling was ‘a victory for true pluralism and diversity. The original decision was an attempt to impose a uniform secularism on virtually all of Europe and to force every member of the Council of Europe, including Ireland, to ignore their national, cultural and religious heritages’.
He said 20 countries had joined with Italy in appealing the 2009 ruling.

Pakistan Muslims plan Islamic pride marches on Christmas Eve – Spero News

Filed Dec 17 2010 in: Religion > Islam by: DeltaV
Pakistani Muslim leaders are calling upon the world to defend the dignity of the Prophet Mohammed, while also calling blasphemers those who defend the life of Aasia Bibi – a Christian woman condemned to death by a Muslim religious court.
It promises to be a difficult Christmas for the Christian community in Pakistan. An alliance among radical Islamic groups – which includes religious parties, Islamic movements, organizations allied with terrorist groups – has called a large mass national demonstration entitled Namos-e-risalat, that is, defending the honor of Muhammad on December 24, after Friday prayers at the mosque, to say “no” to the release of Asia Bibi and any changes to the blasphemy law.

Atheists Win! Appeals Court Refuses to Hear Utah Crosses Case

    ...
Our cases win. In Utah, they were trying to declare the cross a secular monument while standing behind dead cops as a shield. Nobody wanted to fight that case, because nobody wanted to appear to be fighting memorials for fallen troopers. If they had won this case, or had we not challenged it, secular crosses would have popped up all over the public land, without the need to worry about Equal Access or SOCAS violations. Secular crosses would have found their way into schools and courtrooms — that was their plan.
